This part is generated from a hand-written, print-tested OpenSCAD module — the same numbers always produce the same geometry. It is not an AI guess, and it does not cost a credit. Before a load-bearing or fit-critical print, check it against our design guide for wall thickness, overhangs and orientation.
Print notes for this part
- Neck and cap print as two separate bodies side by side, not one part — that is correct, not an error, and both need printing.
- clearance is the single most important number here: too tight and the cap won't turn on, too loose and it won't seal. 0.4 mm is a reasonable starting point — print a short test pair before committing to the full height if your printer runs hot or cold.
- Print both pieces with the thread axis vertical. A helical thread built from stacked horizontal layers is far more accurate than one printed on its side.
- This makes a decent seal against dust and light spills, not a watertight or food-safe one — don't use it for liquids or consumables without separately verifying the filament and a real gasket.
